The first two photos of Kongwak remind us of the humble village Kongwak started out to be.
One cannot help but notice the decimation of the surrounding hardwood forests. Yet again, all buildings are timber built. Especially note the fine bridge, now long gone. The same design could be found all over Victoria.
Pound Creek is close to Inverloch. The following two photos are of the local school – humble architecture, but valued for the establishment of education to all Victorian children. Parents, teachers & children stand proudly in the photo, dressed in their Edwardian finery.
