The Inverloch Historical Society is yet to receive Bass Coast Shire Council support for their proposal for a museum and a cafe, near the town’s boat ramp.
Deputy Mayor Cr Brett Tessari didn’t attend last Wednesday’s council meeting for personal reasons, and his motion that council would back the proposal was subsequently with-drawn. He was keen to speak in favour of the motion.
Cr Tessari’s motion was subject to broader community support for the project.
Mayor Cr Pamela Rothfield said it would be a matter for next month’s meeting and apologised to those who came to the meeting to hear the decision in-person.
